Thank you Stephen! My girlfriend and I used Stephen to broker our first home back at the end of June. We had just returned from almost a year of travelling so our bank statements didn't display our usual frugal saving habits. Additionally I was under a fixed term employment contract rather than full time, which can sometimes complicate things. Stephen managed to present the information favourably and secured some extremely good rates for us. After some initial skepticism about the merits of using a broker, I am convinced the decision to use a broker, and to use Stephen in particular, has given us the best outcome. My advice to anyone considering using Stephen to broker their mortgage is to request that he apply with at least 2 banks - our best offer came from the second bank we approached.read more
